Sometimes a few words of encouragement can make a big impact in a challenging time.
As COVID-19 continues to impact communities across the country, Veterans United Home Loans is standing behind all who are on the frontlines keeping us safe and healthy, and invites you to join their #HereForOurHeroes campaign by writing messages to those brave men and women.
Additionally, Veterans United helped found Operation Gratitude’s Coalition to Support COVD-19 Frontline Responders. In total, the Coalition will support over 300,000 individuals who are battling the pandemic with deliveries of 5 million care items over the next 10 weeks.
“One thing that we can always count on during a crisis is our military and first responders,” said Operation Gratitude CEO and ret. Marine Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Schmiegel. “While they continue to serve, we will continue to support them with the help of this coalition.”
Veterans United ’s contribution will ensure shipments of essential items to more than 50,000 National Guard and other deployed troops responding to COVID-19 nationwide.
How You Can Help
Show that you’re #HereForOurHeroes by writing words of encouragement and appreciation at vu.com/operationgratitude. Your message will be printed on a special postcard and delivered to a frontline hero with a care package from Operation Gratitude.
Thanks so much for joining with us to say a heartfelt, “Thank you!” Your #VirtualVolunteerism is another key initiative of the Coalition to Support COVID-19 Frontline Responders.
